SendGrid

The SendGrid integration lets agents send email through your own SendGrid account, for example a summary or confirmation after a call.

Connect

  1. In SendGrid, go to Settings → API Keys and create a key with Mail Send access. Copy it: SendGrid shows it only once.
  2. Make sure the address you want to send from is a verified sender, or that its domain is authenticated, in SendGrid.
  3. In the VoisX console, open your project and go to Tools → Add tool → From template.
  4. Find SendGrid Email and select it.
  5. Paste the API key and enter the From Email address the agent sends from.
  6. Select the actions you want to enable and click Install integration.

Actions

ActionWhat it does
Send EmailSends a plain-text email
Send HTML EmailSends an HTML email

Example

At the end of the call, offer to email a summary.
If the caller agrees, read their email address back to confirm it,
then use Send Email with the subject "Your call summary" and a short bullet list of what was agreed.

Troubleshooting

403 Forbidden

The from address is not a verified sender, or the API key does not have Mail Send access.

Emails go to spam

Authenticate your sending domain in SendGrid (SPF and DKIM).
