Payments

Payment integrations let agents create payment links, orders and charges, check payment status and issue refunds, using your own account with the payment provider. Money moves between your customer and your provider account; VoisX does not handle the funds.

Supported providers:

ProviderCredentials you need
StripeSecret API key
RazorpayKey ID and key secret
PayTabsProfile ID and server key
warning

Never let an agent collect card numbers by voice or chat. Send the customer a payment link or hosted checkout page from the provider instead. Enable refund actions only if you really want the agent to issue refunds, and set clear limits in its prompt.

Connect

  1. Get the credentials from your provider (see below). Use test-mode keys while you build your agent.
  2. In the VoisX console, open your project and go to Tools → Add tool → From template.
  3. Find the provider and select it.
  4. Enter the credentials, select the actions you want to enable and click Install integration.

Stripe

Find your secret key in the Stripe Dashboard under Developers → API keys. A restricted key with only the permissions you need is safer than your full secret key.

When the customer is ready to pay:
1. Confirm the amount and what it is for.
2. Use Create Payment Link for that amount.
3. Send the link by SMS or email, and tell the customer the link is secure and from our payment provider.
4. If they ask, use Get Payment Status to confirm the payment went through.
Never ask the customer to read out card details.

Troubleshooting

Authentication errors

Check that you used live keys for live payments and test keys for testing. The two cannot be mixed.

Refund fails

The payment may already be refunded, or the refund is larger than the amount captured.
